In Rep. Mary Miller’s district, more than 190,000 people—including 83,000 children and 19,000 seniors—depend on Medicaid for health care.
She’ll soon vote on a national budget that cuts that care to give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy.
If she votes yes, it’s not about cutting costs—it’s about cutting people off.
Rural Illinois deserves better.
If you live in Miller’s district, call her at (202) 225-5271 and let her know you won’t stand for these devastating cuts.

Shame on Rep. Mary Miller for this disgraceful xenophobia. No, America was not founded as a "Christian nation" — in this country we have freedom of religion for all people of all faiths and beliefs, including in the halls of Congress.
For anyone who missed it, June 2025 Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) tweeted that it was “deeply troubling” for a Muslim to deliver the House's morning prayer. The man referenced in the tweet is actually a Sikh Granthi from Southern New Jersey, Giani Surinder Singh, and he was invited by Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) to give the morning prayer. Rep. Miller edited and then deleted the tweet, but she has yet to apologize over her racism, xenophobia, and affront to religious freedom.

Past Controversies:
- In 2021, Miller apologized for quoting Adolf Hitler at a rally, saying "Hitler was right on one thing. He said, 'Whoever has the youth has the future'".
- In 2022, she referred to the overturning of Roe v. Wade as a "victory for white life," with her office claiming it was a misstatement of "right to life".
- An ethics complaint was filed against her in 2022 for allegedly misusing public resources by using House floor footage in a campaign ad, which may violate House rules.
